Jessica (“Jess”) Tawczynski is an artist based in New York and Boston, MA.
b. 1991, Worcester, MA
She grew up in Massachusetts, moving between Webster, Holden, Cape Cod, Lowell and Boston. Tawczynski frequently visits northern Iceland where she has attended numerous artist residencies, most notably at the Akureyri Art Museum.
In 2020, Tawczynski started an instagram platform, Inside Voices Art, where she interviewed artists internationally, about their life and work during the Covid-19 global shutdown period. The platform now exists as a time capsule and provides a look into what artists were thinking about and making during that time.
Jessica Tawczynski is an Administrator at The Estate of Norman Bluhm LLC where she is a researching Registrar and Archivist.
